So Sara, if your reading this, my one piece of advice to you from my trip to Japan last year. If you need to find the Hilton hotel… you gotta ask for “the Hiru-ton”. Your welcome.
I ended up spending considerably less on my new cam than I budgeted for so I decided to spend the rest on some new running shoes! Nike Lunaracer+ from Nike Platinum Vic Park.
So comfy and light, the technology in these shoes is amazing. I mostly wear retro’d trainers from the 80s/90s so these really feel like im walking on the moon.
Will be great for the stalking I plan on doing with my new camera.
Yesterday a went a picked up 2nd hand DSLR from Auckland Camera Centre in Mt Albert. Real neat older fullas in there.Long story short, I was made aware of a camera in there which I rang them to hold as I would be in the next day to pay for it. Dude rings me back an hour later and says there is a customer in store saying he saw it first and how he was entitled to it and he had cash now etc. When the staff said it was on hold for me, he blew his lid. Getting all racial saying they should want the camera to go to a ‘kiwi’ and asians this, asians that.
Luckily the Auckland camera dudes took offence to the racial comments. Apparently half the staff have asian wives so they kicked the customer out of the store!
Today, I have a wicked Canon EOS 400D and im actually glad for yellow fever.
I havent paid for a haircut in close to five years now.
Thats me being a tight ass and buying some clippers and doing it myself.
Todays my day off and i gave myself a cut. Um.. i think i stop being a tight ass.
So if you see a dude that makes you want to laugh out loud. Say hi. Im reasonably friendly.
Today I proved it what I had long thought been a lie. I am awesome.
Today I had to load a truck with exactly 100 boxes. If I average out the weight of those boxes to 10kg’s, then that means i shifted One Ton of stock onto the truck by myself! Guts for me, the truck driver was an old dude who stayed on the truck tray to stack them.
ONE TON!!!! Incidently, a Won Ton is a chinese delicacy… just like me.

Heres another of a few pick ups i’ve aquired over the few weeks. A Levis Denim shirt.
Double that denim shirt up with some jeans and im breaking all sorts of style rules.
Known to be drawn towards bad-asses; this obvious and offensive rule breaking should increase my lady pullage by ten-fold.

Anyways, Phil sent me these Prestos via his Companys international distribution network, whereby it eventually landed in a Nike Platinum store and was purchased by my cousin, worn for several years, and then given to me.
