So Kanye came down to say hi yesterday and picked up a pair of white SUPER sunnies, gave us some free tickets to his show and just had a casual catch up. OK actually he didn’t, but he did just call in to our brother store PLATINUM in Welly and he did wear a pair of SUPER’s last night and you can buy them at Loaded and we did get some free tickets (thanks to his dancers) so it’s a half truth. We are joining forces with our buddies at ABC to host an exhibition celebrating the works of 5 of ABC’s contributing artists. They have each been given a selection of decks and tees to customise for the night as well as displaying pieces of their own works! ALSO we will have THE New Zealand Premiere of the ABC x Expertise DVD ‘Ninja VS. Ran the Auckland half…

He talked it up for months….we waited for him to pull out…..fake a sickie…..miss his flight…..call a taxi from the start line…..spark a ciggy and walk… but no, he ran the whole way and proved us WRONG! YAY for Dan, we are very very proud of you!!

Dan in Wellington got his celebrity stalk on last night and somehow manage to get Chris Brown and his entourage in store at 1am for a bit of a late night private shop. They loved our store (can you blame them) and bought themselves a whole bunch of stuff…but most notably Chris himself bought TWO ABC tees….skate or die and Run ABC. Yay for another celeb buying up one of our favourite NZ brands! And for the record ladies…NEW WEEKLY magazine is totally dead to us. The rumors on Rhianna and Chris Brown dating are entirely untrue!
