Love that shit!

If you are checking out THIS  right now, chances are that you have a strong love for sneakers. Other than rocking a crisp pair daily and talking kicks with your friends, most people don’t usually take the appreciation for their footwear much further than that. To some though, the sneaker is an artform, a harmonious union of lines, shapes and colors that come together to become something much more significant than just something you put on your feet to keep from scuffing your bare heels on the concrete. Here we have a look at a collection of photography by a worldwide variety of sneakerheads who have decided to capture the beauty of their Air Jordans through all types of photography concepts and techniques.

Some obviously got more creative than others, with some photos taking a pretty straightforward approach and others getting a little more daring. Many of these sneaker-centric photographers have decided to explore some macro photography, giving us a closer look at some of our favorites than many of us have probably ever taken. Others experiment with creative lighting and compositions, providing some stylized images that show off subjects that we’ve all seen a million times in some pretty fresh new ways. Forget about TUA and Cameron this weekend because right now its all about EAST vs WEST yo! This round New Yorks finest disc jockey Clark Kent tries to one-up Los Angeles rival UNDFTD’s Eddie Cruz with this classic ‘GUCCI’ inspired DUNK HI.

If this shoe seems familiar it has been floating around as a sample for many years now with collectors and  connoisseurs fiending, but now thanks to Clark Kent the ILL shoe finally sees the light of day as part of his EAST VS WEST PACK.

This extremely limited joint utilises buttery premium leather and ostrich for the upper, and everyones favourite at the the moment…the gum sole.
