Loaded and adidas Originals are proud to announce an exciting upcoming promotion called “If The Shoe Fits, Keep Them”.

From Wednesday the 19th of May, Loaded Auckland and Wellington will be giving away two pairs of men’s and women’s adidas Originals shoes each week for four weeks.  All you need to do is keep an eye and ear out for when to come in.  When you do, simply say the password (well let you know what it is the day before) and you’ll get the chance to match your foot to the size shoe we’ll be giving away on the day and…. If the shoe fits, keep them!

So here it is.  The new Nike Air BW Gen II.  The remodelled Air Classic BW with today’s technology.

The Air BW Gen II has some pretty technical features; The innovation of ‘Torch’, which is a lightweight, moisture managing, comfortable textile features on all four models we have in store now.  Three materials offer different properties to the textile, ‘’Torch’ is designed to allow the foot to breath whilst providing a perfect balance of support and weightlessness.  Overall, a pretty bangin update of a classic.

World Cup Release – Netherlands.  The Orange is unmistakable.  The Netherlands have been represented by visual artist DELTA, who has developed a 3D typographical style and who’s work can be found on the insole and the tongue.

World Cup Release – USA.  Not known as a Football heavyweight, the USA have brought in street culture heavyweight and tattoo artist MR CARTOON as a ring in.  Traditional US colours adorn the outer shell with MR CARTOONS typography on the tongue.

World Cup Release – Brasil.  You wouldn’t think it, but Brasil is represented in the colours of Black ad White with a flash of Green adorning the back heel.  Work of the Brazilian street artist NUNCA on the insole and Typography on tongue.

STARWARS x ADIDAS ORIGINALS: CHARACTERS DROP 2 – RELEASING FRIDAY 5TH FEB

The much anticipated drop 2 of the STARWARS x ADIDAS ORIGINALS collection sees the arrival two more key styles: The ZX700 boat shoe – Yoda, and the S.W. – Skywalker.   By far the most requested shoes of the collection, LOADED recommends you be quick people, because numbers on these are very small!  Dont sleep!

STARWARS x ADIDAS ORIGINALS ZX 700 BOAT SHOE – YODA – $270.00

The ZX 700 Boat Shoe is a classic 70’s silhouette, and it’s heritage makes it an ideal shoe to represent Master Yoda.  The mixture of materials on the ZX 700 boat shoe directly references Yodas appearance where the use of linen and full grain leather represent Yoda’s cloak and skin.  The nicest touch are the lace ends: made of bamboo and symbolises Yoda’s staff.

STARWARS x ADIDAS ORIGINALS S.W. – LUKE SKYWALKER – $270.00

SIZES US 7 – 13.  VERY LIMITED QUANTITIES.  LOADED AUCKLAND.

The S.W. shoe is a tribute 1980’s adidas release: the Skywalker, and also the protagonist of the Star Wars series Luke Skywalker.  As with the Yoda, the S.W. reference’s the appearance of Luke Skywalker, specifically his orange X-wing starfighter suit.  Just so nobody misses the connection, adidas have Luke’s cockpit profile with Rebel helmet on the tongue.

LOADED AUCKLAND PRESENTS: STAR WARS x ADIDAS ORIGINALS

This collaboration sees two iconic brands join forces to create a collection that fan boys and girls can loose sleep over.   The Star Wars x adidas originals collection commemorates and celebrates iconic characters and silhouettes that will be familiar to all generations..

The comprehensive collection includes footwear, apparel and even bobble heads collectors items.  These pieces will be released in varying availibility in tiers:  Characters, Crafts and Classics. As always, LOADED was selected to carry the limited Characters Series which has three product drops for the first three months of 2010.
