We’ve been sitting in a humid sweat for weeks now but the incoming winter stock has got us thinking about the chilly respite ahead. Amongst the new stock is the Hawthorne – a new silhouette from Puma which follows the desert chukka trend of 2010. Coming in snorkel blue suede with an embossed formstripe, the Puma Hawthorne is a multi-seasonal / multi-occasional shoe that’ll do you right for early 2011.

Quite appropriate for Valentines Day. Canadian brand Ransom have firmly established themselves as collaborating favourites of adidas originals and having just released their fourth range together, the relationship is at the sneaker equivalent of meeting the parents (that’s a good thing). Our first 2011 release The Dune – continues to reference outdoor purpose footwear and comes in a beautifully moulded leather construct and some unique detailing to top it off.

Sneaker enthusiasts take a look at this Puma icon in its lesser seen incarnation – The Suede Mid Classic. Just arrived in store we’re amped on this shoe heading into Winter. Sitting quite hi for a mid cut, the simple black suede with white contrast is as OG as Puma get, and with its new found height gives the shoe has an overall slim appearance. Perfect for stacking those loose’n narrow jeans/chinos you got lined up for 2011.

Made for skaters, adidas skateboading has been fostering the needs of riders who not only want to land their tricks, but to look good doing it – for the rest of us these just straight dope. Most prominent (before his untimely death to drug overdose) in the same era as Andy Warhol and Keith Haring, Jean-Michel Basquiat was a graffiti artist who managed to cross over into the wider art community gaining recognition and acclaim world wide. These days Reebok regularly utilise his works as inspiration for limited edition sneaker releases. Based on Jean-Michel Basquiat’s ‘Discography One’ work from 1983; LOADED are showing some lady love and have a limited release of the Reebok Ree Down – Basquiat for the ladies who understand that a great sneaker really can be seen as art. The Supra Cuttler gets some Quick Strike treatment this month as well. The Cuttler is one of the latest and greatest models to come from the Supra stable, with its slim profile and high angular silhouette making it damn near impossible to keep on the shelves. Colour pop is the basis for this release with the upper featuring in a black canvas, slime speckled black Tuf rear with slime foxing and waxed laces to finish off the limited package. A new release from Supra as part of their Quick Strike range, we present the the Limited edition “Rising Sun” TK Society. Taking it’s colour way from the imperial Japanese flag, the “Rising sun” pays homage to Japans influence to the global sneaker culture. Scarce in numbers, the TK Society features a speckled white leather toe box and vamp, with heel and upper in a red Tuf fabrication. Super high. Super dope.
