Arriving Next Week
Another sunglass brand new to loaded is Cassius eyewear. The brainchild of NEW ZEALANDER Jason Ng, Cassius places systems of harmony and proportion at the centre of its design philosophy. Together with the ideology that a logo should be intentionally subtle so that the shape and design of the frames define their look rather than the the brand itself. We went along to their launch party at 420 last night and were treated to a parade of cool kids dancing around in their sunglasses….and now we CAN’T wait for our pairs!!! In stores next week

Arriving this month
Italian eyewear label SUPER is arriving at Loaded later this month and we are super excited. Famed for their recent collabs with ALIFE and Barneys and a million sightings on celebs like Mary-Kate, Sienna Miller and Kanye West. The glasses are known for their modern twist on the classic oversized wayfarer and are all manufactured in Italy with hand made acetate and Carl Zeiss lenses. Summer 08/09 In Store Now
Now that the sun is shining (in Auckland anyway) we though it would be time to let you know all about the new Le Specs Summer 08/09 collection that is in store now. Given the history of Le Specs it is no surprise this season has more 80’s and 90’s throwbacks than the average west Auckland house party. The hit of the range is the Mood Lens which has transitional photochromic lenses (in English - magical lenses that change shades depending on the glare) Check out the collection here. In Store Now
A dedication to NZ skateboard legend and all time cool guy Morri (Andrew Morrison) ABC have just released remakes of his early 90’s pro models by New Deal - one of the big skate companies of all time. The graphics were redesigned by the talented Glenn Smith from www.defineart.co.nz who has done designs for all the cool NZ brands including a bunch of the latest ABC graphics. We have the Morri, Bjorn and Chey decks available at both stores now!
